Lateral Flow
Lohmann understands the importance of providing built to specification backing materials and cover tapes to point-of-care lateral flow device manufacturers. These stable and inert materials are supplied in roll and card form.
Our Solutions
At Lohmann, pressure sensitive adhesives are manufactured and laminated to thermoplastic materials. These materials have been designed to deliver lightweight, durable, uniformity, and lay-flat characteristics essential in the performance of the lateral flow test strip as they serve as the platform for component assembly. These backing materials are ready to receive absorbent, wicking, conjugate pads and nitrocellulose membranes.
Cover tapes are top laminate-like products. These printed or unprinted single coated pressure sensitive adhesives are chosen to aid in sample flow, act as a protective barrier to prevent evaporation, help to limit reagent back-flow, and can assist in the anchorage of delicate materials to the test strip.
